Desiderata (latin for desired things)

This is a summarized text that comes out of a poem which later was written as a song "Desiderata"... there's a Spanish-Language spoken song version with its same title too... hope you get to learn something out of this..

Go placidly amid the noise and haste,

How do I download videos from Youtube or Google Videos or Metacafe ?

It's strange that none of the video sharing sites provide a simple one-click button to download videos. So we will have to take the help of easy workarounds to download the videos. Here are three different ways to download any video from the internet though internally, they employ the same hack (Right-click -> "Save Target As" OR copy the link into your download manager. but change the file extension to .flv)

Approach 1: The easiest way is to copy your video URL and paste it on KeepVid Lite. When you click submit, you will be provided with a link to save the video as an FLV file.

Approach 2: Bookmark this Link or drag it your browser links toolbar. When you want to download a certain video, open the link in your browser and click the KeepVid button.

Approach 3: For Firefox Users - Install the VideoDownloader Extension from Mozilla Addons website - It downloads all embedded objects on a webpage including the video clips.

WTF is not a bad word!!!! but what would you do in a situation like this one???

Here, I'll show you How to Display your name in the taskbar instead of the time!
this is a lil' trick that a good friend of mine showed me days ago!! ;)
Go to:

Start -> Control Panel -> Regional and Language Options -> Customize (beside English US) ->

Go to Time tab -> Edit the AM symbol and PM symbol from AM and PM to include your name -> Apply -> OK

For example: If your name is “Superman”, set AM Symbol to “AM Superman” and PM Symbol to “PM Superman”.

Now, your name will be displayed in your Windows Taskbar,right after the time.

Stallone. Schwarzenegger. INCREDIBLE LOVE (!?!?!?) Coming Soon!!

Just like the headline says. Literally.


The two will appear alongside the Bollywood stars Ashkay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor in Incredible Love, the story of an Indian stuntman who takes Hollywood by storm but cannot find true love there.

The film will be the first Indian production to be shot at Hollywood’s Universal Studios and will have the highest budget in Bollywood history: more than £11m.

...says THIS ARTICLE at Timesonline, which goes on to discuss Bollywood's increasing influence on the U.S film industry (including DreamWorks' affiliation with Bombay billionaire Anil Ambani - an arrangement which may facilitate the entity's departure from Paramount).

No word on how either Sly or Arnold will be utilized in INCREDIBLE LOVE; although it seems likely they'll play action stars...possibly even themselves...shooting a movie that our protagonist stuntman is working on. This is just conjecture, though.

For decades, many of us have imagined what a project featuring Stallone and Schwarzenegger would be like...although most of us probably weren't envisioning something along these lines. Still, it'll be great fun seeing them in the same film, even if it's not in a buddy capacity, or (my favorite notion) in a Sly -vs- Arnold free-for-all.
